Vyomax for Leucorrhoea

Leucorrhoea, is commonly known as whites or refers to a whitish discharge from the female genitals. It denotes a generally devitalized and toxic condition of the system, caused by wrong feeding habits. Whenever the body is loaded with toxins and the eliminative organs such as the skin, bowels, lungs, and kidneys are unable to eliminate them, the body in women establishes profuse discharge through the mucous membrane of the uterus and vagina in the form of leucorrhoea. In Ayurveda, Leucorrhoea is believed to be caused by aggravation of Kapha Dosha. This aggravated kapha reaches vagina and due to its property causes discharge of white colored, thick, foul smelling fluid called leucorrhoea.

Among young females, it may be due to threadworms, as the result of general debility combined with lack of cleanliness or infections or due to the thickening of the mucus membrane in the reproductive organs. The patient in such conditions can feel weak and tired. The other symptoms include pain in the lumbar region and the calves, frequent headaches, intense itching and dragging sensation in the abdomen. In the chronic form, the patient feels irritable and develops black patches under the eyes.

A teaspoon of the paste of the decorticated kernel of mango can also be applied inside the vagina for beneficial results. As far as diet is concerned fried and spicy foods should be avoided. The patient should be encouraged to chew betel nut (supari) after meals: it has a curative effect and also prevents the development of the disease. A cold hip bath taken twice a day for ten minutes at a time, can also help to relieve congestion in the pelvic region and facilitate quick elimination of morbid matter.
