Shiva Gutika is a propreitory Ayurvedic preparation made of many indigenous herbs and minerals. It contains 70% Shilajit which is known for boosting potency and stamina. The other herbs & minerals present in Shiva Gutika are :
- Pippali (Piper Longum) : Immature berries of this herb are dried in the sun and then used as a stimulant, and an alternative tonic more powerful than black pepper. Its an effective diuretic.
- Kutki (Gentiana Kurroo) : Also known as Indian Gentian , its roots are used as a bitter tonic for intermittent fevers, acidity and liver and spleen troubles.
- Sonth (Zingiber Officinale) : Dried Ginger as it is called contains an aromatic volatile oil which is aromatic and stimulant for gastro-intestinal problems. It strenghtens memory, removes obstruction in the vessels and good for nervine disorders.
- Kakar Shingi (Rhus Succedanea) : Galls (in English) are useful in cough, want of appetite, irritability of stomach. It is used in combination with other astringents in diarrhoea.
- Parval Pissti (Corallium Rubrum) : Coral ash is known to be a nervine tonic and also effective in urinary diseases, headache, giddiness and carbuncle.
- Tawa Sheir (Bambusa Arundinacea) : Contains Silica and Proteolytic enzymes which are used to immune against palpitations, vomiting, coma and other fevers.
Apart from these, other minerals and extracts are Vang Bhasma, Abhrak Bhasma, Ashtavarga, Shatavar etc. This constitutes the complete family tonic which can be taken to keep fit in daily living.
Directions: 2-3 tablets per day or as directed by an Ayurvedic Practitioner.
